As Managing Partner, he brings nearly 15 years of management and strategic experience, providing guidance as companies uncover and prioritize their true purpose. O’Ryan’s diverse skills combine business and HR, enabling him to lead a company’s finance, operations, human resources and marketing divisions.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Masters in Business Administration, the perfect foundation for his leadership role at Stoppler Hughes. O’Ryan brings a calm, patient approach, thanks to his volunteer work with KidSport Edmonton and raising three children under the age of eight. As President and CEO of ECL Group, our parent company, he brings over 15 years of experience in strategic leadership, long-term vision building and HR development. In his Partner role at Stoppler Hughes, Scott guides our team as we tailor dynamic, future-forward HR solutions. He holds his personal consultant certification and NAIT Business Administration diploma, providing business owners and entrepreneurs with strategies and tools to achieve their greatest contributions.
From the Association of Canadian Search to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation and Lurana Shelter, Scott has chaired a variety of non-profits and causes close to his heart. Under his leadership at ECL Group, he has established initiatives to support these local charities in realizing their HR objectives and visions.

As Director, he manages our diverse HR solutions, provides leadership training and implements insights from our strategy findings. Darryl has a talent for contributing where gaps lie, offering an energetic, solution-oriented attitude. With a BComm from the University of Lethbridge, MBA from the University of Alberta and a doctorate from the University of Phoenix, he brings unparalleled leadership, analysis and team-building skills.
Darryl’s roots are in Edmonton, and he now sits on the Board of Directors for the MS Society of Alberta and NWT. He hones his compelling communication style at public speaking engagements, such as the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, Aboriginal Business Match and Alberta Women’s Entrepreneurs (AWE) Summit.
Searching for new opportunities after a successful professional ballet career, Kerrie discovered her true calling as an HR professional. She witnessed gaps in workplace happiness, inspiring her to shape fulfillment and meaning in her clients’ professional and personal lives.
Excelling in human resources roles across Western Canada and beyond, Kerrie holds a BComm in HR from the University of Alberta and a Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) certification. A lifelong learner, she is currently attaining her Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) and Associated Certified Coach (ACC) designations.
